The Southeastern Cherokee Council of Pennsylvania is a Native American Education 501(c)3 Non-Profit, and we are registered with the United Way and Charitable Organizations.
The Southeastern Cherokee Council of Pennsylvania has a Speakers Bureau, and we are available to give lectures in school, colleges, universities and churches. We teach the Cherokee language, bead work, leather work and Native American dancing; and we educate the general public about the Cherokees - past and present.
A scholarship for Native Americans was established in 1994 to assist Native American youth in their endeavor to achieve higher education, and a Cherokee Festival is held annually over the Memorial Day weekend that lasted until 2011.
We are still present in our area supporting other Native American events across the USA and as far as Bermuda and active in our community
We would appreciate your contribution to the Southeastern Cherokee Confederacy of Pennsylvania #0438 as we continue our path of helping others. Thank you.
